In Spring and early Summer in the Himalayas in Tibet, it is harvest time.
Tibetans are busy combing the coats of their yaks, domesticated oxen, gathering the precious down fiber or hair the yaks shed this time of year.
The finest hair is spun into wool and dyed using natural dyes, creating a rainbow of vibrant, vivid colors. The wool is then woven into fabric which will become a YAKET.
